District 45 Begins Registration for 2013-14 School Year
District 45 will be holding 2013-14 registration for elementary school students in kindergarten through fourth grade from April 15 through May 1. Elementary registration packets were sent home with students on April 11.
District 45 Board Appoints Westmore Principal
The School District 45 Board of Education voted during a regular meeting on April 2, 2013 to approve the appointment of John Gibbas to the position principal at Westmore Elementary School for the 2012-13 school year. The appointment will be effective July 1, 2013.
On Your Marks, Get Set for the District 45 PTA Council 5K
School District 45 PTA Council will host the fifth annual Just for Fun 5K Run and Kids' 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, April 27. The fun begins with registration and race day packet pick up at 7 a.m. in the Villa Park Gazebo on the Prairie Path, located near Central and Ardmore Avenues in Villa Park.
District 45 Board of Education Appoints Superintendent
The School District 45 Board of Education has approved the appointment of Anthony Palmisano to the position of superintendent effective July 1, 2013. He is currently the principal at Jackson Middle School in District 45 which serves over 680 students in sixth through eighth grade.
